Recipe for Sambar

• Boil 200g arhar dal in 1200ml water. Soak 40g imli in 1 cup water.
  
• Add 4 tbsp refined oil in a cooker and fry mustard seeds along with curry leaves. Cook 4 tomatoes & 2 green chillies till they turn brown.
• Add 300g chopped vegetables like ghiya, drumsticks, peas & brinjal, add 20g spicify sambhar masala & salt according to taste.
• Now mix boiled dal along with water with the vegetables and cook on low flame.
• Serve with idli, dosa & appam & enjoy spicify sambhar.
